Follow-up and Return-to-Work Planning

What Is Lip Enhancement Surgery?

Lip Reshaping or Reduction — ₱30,000 Per Lip
Reduces selected excess lip tissue and reshapes the lip border for better proportion and definition. The published package for both upper and lower lips is ₱40,000.
Corner Lip Lift — ₱30,000
Lifts downturned outer lip corners to soften a sad, tired, or stern resting expression. The incision is placed along the natural lip border.
Who May Be a Candidate?
Lip Reshaping may be considered for naturally thick or bulky lips, uneven upper-and-lower lip proportions, or patients who want definition without adding filler. Corner Lip Lift may be considered when the outer corners of the mouth turn downward at rest.
An in-person assessment is needed to review lip movement, dental support, facial balance, natural asymmetry, previous fillers or surgery, scarring tendency, medical history, and realistic expectations.
Recovery and Limitations
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, tightness, temporary numbness, and unevenness are expected during early healing. Soft food, careful mouth hygiene, and avoiding smoking, alcohol, strenuous exercise, and stretching the lips may be advised.

Will I look very different?
The goal is a more balanced lip shape, not a completely different face. Early swelling can make the result look stronger at first. The lips continue to soften and settle over several months.
Will there be scars?
Lip Reshaping places the incision inside or near the wet-dry border of the lip. Corner Lip Lift places the incision along the natural lip border. Scars usually fade, but no scar can be promised to become invisible.
Is surgery better than lip filler?
They treat different concerns. Filler adds volume. Lip Reshaping reduces or redistributes selected tissue, while Corner Lip Lift changes downturned corners. The better option depends on your anatomy and goal.
Can upper and lower lips be reshaped together?
Yes, when medically appropriate. The Promotional Price is ₱30,000 per lip or ₱40,000 for both upper and lower lips. Final planning and pricing are confirmed after assessment.
Can Lip Reshaping and Corner Lip Lift be combined?
They may be combined in selected patients when the total procedure, recovery, and scar placement remain appropriate. Dr. Bien will advise whether doing both in one session is suitable.
How long do the results last?
The removed tissue and surgical lift are intended to be long-lasting. Aging, scar changes, dental changes, weight changes, and individual healing can still affect the lips over time.
When can I return to work?
Some patients resume light work within several days, but visible swelling or stitches may remain. Plan more time if your work involves speaking, public-facing duties, travel, or physical activity.
