Follow-up and Return-to-Work Planning
These are usual clinic estimates, not guaranteed recovery deadlines. Your procedure-specific instructions, healing and individual clearance take priority.
Follow-up visits
For most procedures, the usual first follow-up is around 7 days. Confirm your individual appointment before leaving the clinic.
Follow-ups are included. Further visits are arranged according to your recovery.
Stitch removal
Stitches are usually removed around day 7 when applicable. Follow the date given by your surgeon.
Desk work
The usual estimate is around 2–3 days, depending on your procedure, comfort, work duties and your surgeon’s advice.
Physical work
The usual estimate is around 2–4 weeks. Confirm clearance for the lifting, bending and exertion involved in your job.
Exercise, driving and flights
Confirm these separately with your surgeon. Being ready for desk work does not mean you are cleared for exercise, driving or travel.
Companion
A companion is required for a sedated procedure. Arrange this before your treatment date.

What Is Botulinum Toxin Treatment?
Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces selected muscle activity. It may soften expression lines or address certain muscle-related concerns after a physician assessment.
What the Consultation Covers
Dr. Bien reviews facial movement, symmetry, medical history, medicines, prior injections, and the areas that should remain expressive. The number of units is individualized.
Results and Recovery
Effects develop gradually and are temporary. Bruising, tenderness, headache, or short-term asymmetry may occur. Repeat treatment is optional when the effect wears off.
Risks and Limitations
Possible effects include eyelid or brow droop, uneven expression, dry eye, smile changes, and rare spread of toxin effect.
