Eyebags and Under-Eye Fullness
Under-eye fullness can involve protruding fat, loose skin, a tear-trough hollow, cheek descent, swelling, pigmentation, or lower-eyelid support.

What may contribute
Fat pads, skin quality, lid support, facial volume, allergies, fluid retention, and lighting can create similar-looking concerns. A hollow beside a fat pad may make the bag look more prominent.
Individual assessment
How the concern is evaluated
The examination evaluates fat position, skin, lid tone, eye closure, tear trough, cheek support, asymmetry, dry-eye symptoms, medical history, and whether swelling varies during the day.

Options that may be discussed
Lower blepharoplasty may remove or reposition selected tissue. Under-eye fat grafting may help a true hollow in suitable patients. Removing fat alone can worsen hollowing when volume deficiency is an important part of the problem.
